PDF of Exploring Archival Silences Attached is an analysis of the concept of “archival silences”, followed by a literature analysis of existing solutions employed by archives to reduce the omission of minority voices. The goal of the paper is to identify potential policies and accession goals archives can adopt to reduce the silencing of marginalized voices.
